West Bountiful Independence Day Celebration: West Bountiful City is happy to announce the Independence Day Schedule. The schedule is as follows: Thursday, July 3rd: (All activities at City Park) 5:00 – 8:00pm Carnival & Food Trucks 5:00 – 9:00pm WBPD Safety Fair 6:00 – 10:00pm Concert  (Opening Act: The 3 Amigos) (Main Event: Endless Summer) 10:00pm Fireworks Friday, July 4th: 7:30am Flag Raising at City Hall (Tony Preston, U.S. Air Force) 10:00am Parade If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Remington Whiting at [email protected].

Details: Saturday, October 16 – Saturday, October 23

Hours:  11:00 am – 7 pm (will close when bins are full on 10/23)

Where: North end of city park

Sunday: No dumping will be allowed

Bins will be barricaded after hours – DO NOT leave trash at barricades

PROOF OF WEST BOUNTIFUL RESIDENCY WILL BE REQUIRED

WE WILL NOT ACCEPT:

Lead Products

Wood larger than 2x2x6’

Paint

Commercial Waste

Animal Remains

Tires

Appliances with Freon, (e.g., refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners)

TVs

Computers

Glass

Barbed Wire

Hazardous Waste of any kind* (e.g., batteries, chemical material/explosives

fluorescent lights, etc.)

Green Waste, including dirt, fertilizers**

 

*   Please take Hazardous Waste to Wasatch Energy Recovery Facility in Layton.

** Please take Green Waste to Bountiful Landfill. It is accepted there year round–but the
city will cover the cost during our clean-up period.
