FY27 Budget and FY26 Amendments

Public notice is hereby given that the Mayor and City Council of West Bountiful City, Utah will hold the following three public hearings to receive public input on the proposed budgetary actions:

1. Fiscal year 2026 - Public hearing to open the budget for consideration of various increases and decreases (i.e., amendments) in budgeted revenues and expenditures. A copy of the tentative amendments will be available for public inspection at City Hall and on the city's website for at least ten days prior to the public hearing.
2. Fiscal year 2027 - Public hearing on fiscal year 2027 compensation schedule increase of 2.7% for employees including executive municipal officers and elected officials. A copy of the tentative compensation schedule will be available for public inspection at City Hall and on the city's website for at least ten days prior to the public hearing.
3. Fiscal year 2027 - Public hearing to consider the entire fiscal year 2027 budget before final adoption. Said budget is for municipal services for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027. A copy of the tentative budget will be available for public inspection at City Hall and on the city's website for at least ten days prior to the public hearing.

Each of these public hearings will be held during the regular City Council Meeting which begins at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. The meeting location will be in the West Bountiful City Hall at 550 N 800 W, West Bountiful, Utah. The public is invited and encouraged to participate in these hearings.

All interested parties are invited to participate in the hearings. Written comments may be submitted to City Hall, Attention City Recorder, no later than 5:00 p.m., Monday, June 1st, 2026.
