Arts Council

The West Bountiful City Arts Council was established in 2005. Its mission is to foster a love and appreciation for all the arts. The members of the Council, who are all volunteers, are actively engaged in this objective.

On the second Friday of the month, except June, July, August, and December, the Council hosts a free concert at City Hall from 7:00 to 8:00 PM. The live performances are recorded on “YouTube”, and can be found by entering “West Bountiful Arts Council” in the search box, so you’ll never have to miss these delightful experiences. We’re also working on the ability to “live stream” the performances so you can watch them from home if you’re uncomfortable with crowds.  Stay tuned to this page to learn how to do this.

The Council meets at 6:30 PM on the first Thursday of each month to plan and sponsor events such as the monthly concert series, where we showcase local talent, and the annual Independence Day celebration, which includes the Parade and activities at the park on Pages Lane. We also support our local elementary school’s PTA in their many efforts to foster the arts.  We support other school activities, such as teacher appreciation, the school chorus and art nights, school plays and other arts-related after-school programs.

Contact Council Chairperson Lucile Eastman, at 801-292-0664 for more information or if you would like to participate on the Council or suggest an artist, performer, or group we might feature. Candidates for contributing artists or performers must be residents of West Bountiful or have a tie to West Bountiful.
