| Details: | PUBLIC HEARING A public hearing will be held at city hall on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, beginning at 7:30 p.m. by the West Bountiful Planning Commission.The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comment regarding a proposal for Housing in Certain Commercial Areas Overlay (HCCO). The draft overlay zone is limited to the Commercial General (C-G) and Commercial Highway (C-H) districts. Townhomes, multi-family, and mixed-use buildings would be permitted in the HCCO pursuant to the requirements of this proposal. The city’s general plan specifically calls out 500 West and 500 South corridors as suitable locations for higher density housing to help increase housing options. A description and proposed ordinance are available for review under the Public Notice tab on this website. All interested parties are invited to participate in the hearing.
