DESCRIPTION:The annual Fall Clean-up will be held October 13-15 at the north end of city park.  The hours on Thursday and Friday will be 8am – 7pm. Hours on Saturday will be 8am – until bins are full.  \nCity ID is required.  Bins will be barricaded after hours. \nWE WILL NOT ACCEPT: Lead products\, chemical materials\, paint\, animal remains\, commercial waste\, tvs\, tires appliances with freon\, barbed wire\, wood larger than 2x2x6 ft\, batteries\, or hazardous waste.  \nGreen waste can be taken to Bountiful Landfill anytime\, but the city will pay the fee from October 13 through October 15.

SUMMARY:Arts Council Concert
DESCRIPTION:Doug and Laurie Vandegrift will perform on Oct 14 at the West Bountiful Arts Council Concert Series \nThe West Bountiful Arts Council Fall/Winter Concert Series presents Doug and Laurie Vandegrift and children on Friday\, Oct. 14 at 7:00 pm at the West Bountiful City Hall. The Vandegrift family will sing and perform a variety of Broadway and Classic pop songs. \nDoug and Laurie met in 1976 at Utah State University while Doug was majoring in Theatre and Laurie was majoring in Music. They married in September of 1977 and now have 5 children and 7 grandchildren. They have lived in West Bountiful for the past 18 years. \nOver the past 40 years\, they have performed in community theatre productions (Rogers Memorial Theatre) either individually\, together\, or with their children. For some of the productions\, Doug was the director. Part of Doug’s career was as a Story Board Artist. During his animation years\, he was privileged to win an Emmy as a Director for Muppet Babies. \nWhile raising their five children\, Laurie has been a performer\, costume designer\, and a voice teacher. She has been giving individual voice lessons for the past 20 years. \nIn the 1980s\, Doug and Laurie sang together in a band called Starlight Band. In 1997\, Doug\, along with the other guys from the Starlight Band\, started the Endless Summer Band. Doug is the bass player and one of the lead performers for the Endless Summer Band. The band continues to perform today. \nThe Vandegrift family has enjoyed performing together throughout the years and look forward to sharing an evening performing in concert as part of the West Bountiful Arts Council Fall/Winter Concert Series. \nWe invite everyone to come and enjoy an evening with the talented Vandergrift family. \n
